Community Fun Run

We came, we ran, we raised £2,500 at the Community Fun Run!
On Sunday 24th May 2009, Youth Aliyah Child Rescue joined the Community Fun Run for the first time at The Haberdashers Askes Boys School. It was a brilliant day of community feeling, fundraising, and yes, indeed, we even ran! Several of our donors had the right spirit (and physical fitness) to actually jog the entire 10 km (Gregory Tarn managed it in a fabulous 46 minutes) raising sponsorship money for the charity and having a great time. And then there were several others who took the 5 km option.
Youth Aliyah Child Rescue thanks all our runners and donors who have so successfully raised a total of £2.500 which will go to the children in our 5 Youth Villages who desperately need our help. Join us next year!! And remember: it is not too late to make a donation.
