It is a beautifully created design, made possible thanks to a bequest, which conveys a sense of space, peace and tranquillity. Different sized areas, a garden stocked with an interesting variety of flowers and shrubs, paved walkways and a green house will together provide a much needed focal point for Talpiot and will also provide a link between different communal housing.
The design addresses the aims of providing children and their parents with a common place to meet, to enjoy the beauty of nature, to reflect on the colours and smells and the variety of Israel’s flora and fauna. The gardens will also provide ample opportunity for walks, play and exercise in the open air. Provisions are made for parking, for adequate lighting, but also for a greenhouse which will offer opportunities for the Talpiot community to grow and explore rare plants and flowers.
