The dormitory was converted into therapeutic foster family units which provide a warm and supportive home for ‘at-risk’ children aged 4-14, who have been removed from their homes and have special needs. For a period of three years, they and their families receive ongoing individual and group therapy to facilitate their return to their natural home.
Each unit has renovated bathrooms, welcoming lobbies and modern kitchens. It is hoped that in this very conducive environment children and their parents will find it easier and more encouraging to mend the broken bits of their past.
