Types of project

Capital Projects: Our villages build, maintain and renovate on a regular basis dormitories, classrooms, bomb shelters, dining rooms and landscapes. In order for our children to learn and develop, a conducive environment is crucial.

Educational Projects: Staff in our villages run state-of-the art educational projects which have become models emulated across institutions in Israel and abroad. Apart from learning the national curriculum and achieving high results, students are also able to join business initiatives, Ulpanim, advanced IT courses, skills workshops, etc.

Therapeutical Projects: All children coming to our villages are assessed, and treatment and educational plans are then devised tailored to their individual needs. Accordingly children are grouped according to their needs and abilites. Small group tuition and supportive encounters complement their daily routine, as well as outings and workshops in art, music or sport.

Leisure: The villages also cater for the children’s free time. Children participate in theatre and museum visits, hikes, swimming and summer camps, petting zoos, playground and voluntary work projects, as well as driving lessons.

Spiritual and Health: Children at all our Youth Villages benefit from spiritual guidance, synagogue services, religious study, Bar- and Bat Mitzvah celebrations, birthday parties; and from workshops teaching them how to cope with future challenges, such as drug and alcohol abuse.

Equipment: We are continually working towards helping the villages update their facilities with modern equipment, state-of-the-art information technology, musical instruments, sport equipment, books, DVDs, bicycles, religious articles and vehicles.
